The team in the doctoral office of the dean's office is responsible for any questions you may have regarding the administrative procedure of the PhD.
If your questions concern the supervision of your doctorate, doctoral topics and positions, the resources and organisation of a doctoral project, please address your questions directly to the professors in the institutes of the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

Application documents can be submitted by mail (Postal address). There is a mailbox for the Faculty of Natural Sciences outside of building 3403, Appelstr. 11A.

Resumption of doctoral procedures (viva)
Due to the changed general conditions (7 May 2020), disputations or oral examinations can be held again at the Faculty of Natural Sciences with immediate effect in accordance with the corona and hygiene regulations. This change currently requires an adjustment of the academic processes.
From Wednesday, 13 May 2020, appointment requests can be submitted by e-mail. Please make sure that the necessary deadlines are adhered to when scheduling appointments.Thanks for your collaboration!
