The Faculty of Natural Sciences sadly announces the loss of Prof. Dr. Thomas Mosimann.
It is with great sadness, but also with gratitude, that Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover takes farewell of a highly esteemed, committed researcher and academic teacher. He had a great influence on the teaching and research in geography – the reorientation of Hannover's physical geography towards modern landscape-ecological research, the communication of complex interrelationships in an understandable and inspiring form, the transfer of scientific knowledge and methodological innovations into practice are a few milestones to mention.
