33rd Annual Meeting of the German Crystallographic Society
The 33rd Annual Meeting of the German Crystallographic Society (DGK) will take place from March 10th to 13th 2025 at Leibniz University Hannover. The conference brings together international researchers from the fields of crystallography, materials science, chemistry, physics and life sciences.
Plenary lectures by:
- Prof. Sandro Jahn: “From crust to core - material properties of the deep Earth”
- Prof. Dr. Waltraud M. Kriven: ‘High Temperature Synchrotron Studies of Ceramics’
- Prof. Dr. Joke Hadermann: ‘Crystal Structure Evolution Tracking’
- Prof. Andrew Goodwin: ‘Truchet-Tile Architecture in Material Chemistry’
- Prof. Dr. Ingrid Span: ‘FeFe Hydrogenases in Biotechnology’
- Prof. Dr. Dr. Clemens Richert: ‘Organic Crystallization Chaperones and Studies on the Origin of Translation’
More than 20 microsymposia and about 100 poster behind an industry exhibition of analytical methods in the “Lichthof of the Welfenschloss “a part of the event. Contributions of young crystallographs are given in a special microsymposia, too.
The conference is being organised by Leibniz University Hannover. The closing event on March 13th 2025 (11:45 a.m.) will summarise key topics and provide a platform for discussion.
