IT officers

IT Officers at Institutions and Facilities

The IT officers support the respective head of institution, the Faculty Information Officer (FIO) of the faculty and the central IT service providers as a contact person in IT matters. The IT officers exercise the competences assigned to them in their areas in coordination with the respective head of institution. The IT officers are responsible for creating, maintaining and updating documentation on the entire IT use of the respective facility. This also includes the structured recording of the network infrastructure and IT procedures.

Lists with personal details and contact addresses are generated automatically from the staff and organisation directory at Leibniz University Hannover (EPV). This is the central point for the recording and administration of all data and addresses.
