Life Sciences Lecture Series in Summer Term 2024

The Faculty of Natural Sciences at Leibniz University Hannover invites you to the lecture series Life Science in the summer semester 2024. This lecture series offers insights into research and developments in areas such as botany, biophysics, food science, cell and microbiology, organic and technical chemistry and food chemistry. Our speakers share their knowledge on topics such as optimising photosynthesis, advanced cell culture technologies, the role of the microbiome in nutrition and inflammation, and the impact of microplastics on soil and microbiota. Insights into the applications of natural products will also be provided.

The event is aimed at students, researchers and the general public. Lectures will take place on Thursdays from 16:00 to 18:00 in the Walsrode lecture hall, starting on 2 May 2024.

External participants are invited to attend and are asked to register as guest auditors or junior students.
