Integrated Preparatory Courses

Where do the preparatory courses take place?
Our preparatory courses, offered by the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Leibniz University Hannover, usually run in the winter semester and take place on campus in the lecture theatre, supported by the ILIAS e-learning platform. The in-person sessions are held in accordance with the current regulations.

What can I expect from the preparatory course?
In the course linked to your degree programme, you will review important topics in mathematics, chemistry and physics that are expected as prior knowledge for your studies. This means you can refresh what you have already learned and feel more confident when your regular classes begin.

How do the preparatory courses work?
On the first day, you will receive a short introduction to ILIAS and can explore the learning modules provided there. To prepare for the following online course days, you work through one learning module in ILIAS for each day. Each learning module includes a short self-assessment test, several pages of learning material and exercises.

Good to know: You can join the preparatory courses at any time. However, we recommend starting on the first day so that you can benefit from all the support offered during the course.

Language of instruction
