Degree Programmes in Geography

Geography investigates and explains the natural phenomena of earth’s surface and the economic and social activities of we humans. It helps to predict and shape future developments. Its interdisciplinary approach makes it at home in the natural sciences, the social sciences and also in economics.

The Faculty of Natural Sciences offers a single-subject Bachelor in Geography, which can be followed by the Master programmes for the Landscape Sciences or Economic Geography. The interdisciplinary Bachelor programme and the Master of Education to teach at upper secondary level qualify graduates to teach geography and one further subject at upper secondary level.
