Expect to Experiment: The Diversity of the Natural Sciences at the IdeenExpo

From 20 to 28 June 2026, the Faculty of Natural Sciences will be exhibiting at the IdeenExpo in the ‘Planet Sustainability’ zone. Under the slogan ‘Just give it a go!’, we invite you to actively experience the natural sciences – with a variety of interactive exhibits designed for you to get involved, try things out and make discoveries.

• Pollen in focus: urban greenery and health
• Hands-on chemistry: floating eggs, bouncing soap bubbles, fragrant bath bombs
• Like in the lab: 3D cell culture technologies and build-your-own tissue
• Interactive molecular biology: dancing matrix proteins
• Plant biotechnology: modern breeding methods

Prospective students will gain fascinating insights into current research and discover the wide range of degree programmes available. Throughout the event, they will have the opportunity to chat with researchers and students.
