Matrix Evolution Symposium 2026: Trends in Biomaterials, Tissue Regeneration and Imaging
The collaborative research project Matrix Evolution invites you to the second annual symposium on 27.08.2026 in the Conference Center of Leibniz Haus.
The Matrix Evolution research consortium in Hannover is dedicated to unraveling the complexity of the matrix, from macroscopic levels down to microscopic and molecular nanoscales. Our mission is to recreate this intricate system in the lab, gaining fundamental insights into the matrix's in health and disease, which will pave the way for innovations in tissue engineering and implant research. We are also committed to supporting women in science and are delighted to welcome distinguished female speakers to our annual symposium:
- Prof. Alessandra Cambi
Radboud University, Nijmegen, Netherlands - Dr. Erika Tsingos
Utrecht University, Netherlands - Prof. Dr. med. Bettina Wiegmann
Hannover Medical School, Germany - Prof. Dr. Sahar Salehi-Müller
Hohenheim University, Stuttgart, Germany
We are looking forwards to poster abstract submissions, with a chance to present a short talk of selected abstracts, alongside your registration, from the fields of biomaterial research, cell-matrix-interactions or translational implant research.
We look forward to your contributions and to an open, constructive exchange in Hannover. Register until June 30th 2026 here.
