Gender and Diversity Day – Confronting the Abuse of Power
The Gender and Diversity Day is organised by the decentralised equal opportunities officers from the Faculties of Mathematics and Physics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences.
This year's Gender and Diversity Day focuses on the topic: Confronting the abuse of power. Alongside two keynote talks on power in universities and violence in digital media, wo practical workshops will offer in-depth discussions.
Programme:
- 09–9:30 Arrival and coffee
- 9:30–10 Welcome and opening remarks: Prof. Dr Julia Gillen (Vice-President for Education, LUH), Sarah Peters (Central Equal Opportunities Officer, University Office for Diversity and Opportunity)
- 10–12 Uhr Keynote talks:
